Water Warrior Terms of Service Effective Date: August 2, 2026 Last Updated: August 2, 2026 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Water Warrior mobile application, website, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.” The Service is operated by Water Warrior (“Water Warrior,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using Water Warrior, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

1. Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, to create a Water Warrior account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Water Warrior only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use the Service, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf. You may not use Water Warrior if you are prohibited from receiving the Service under applicable law.
2. Water Warrior Is a General Wellness Service Water Warrior is designed to help users record water intake, set hydration goals, receive reminders, and interact with friends. Water Warrior is provided for general informational, fitness, and wellness purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Hydration needs vary based on factors such as age, health, medication, activity, climate, pregnancy, and medical conditions. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions that may affect your health. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of information displayed by Water Warrior. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.
3. Accounts Certain features require a Water Warrior account. When creating or using an account, you agree to: Provide accurate and current information Keep your sign-in credentials confidential Maintain only accounts you are authorized to use Notify us if you suspect unauthorized account access Accept responsibility for activity occurring through your account You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, create accounts for abusive purposes, or sell or transfer your account without our written permission. We may require you to change a username or profile information that violates these Terms or infringes another person’s rights.
4. Hydration Information and Goals You are responsible for the accuracy of hydration entries, goals, beverage amounts, and other information you enter into Water Warrior. Goals, streaks, reminders, estimates, summaries, or recommendations displayed by the Service may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You should not rely on Water Warrior as your sole source of health or safety information. Water Warrior does not guarantee that a particular hydration goal is medically appropriate for you.
5. Friends and Social Features Water Warrior may allow users to: Search for other users Send and accept friend requests View permitted profile or hydration information Create posts Upload images Comment or react to content Participate in challenges or social activities Information you make available through these features may be seen by other users according to the applicable feature and privacy settings. You are responsible for deciding what information to share. Do not post personal, medical, financial, location, or other sensitive information that you do not want other users to see.
6. Acceptable Use You agree not to use Water Warrior to: Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, shame, or intimidate another person Post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or unlawful content Encourage dangerous hydration practices, self-harm, eating disorders, or other harmful conduct Promote false medical claims or impersonate a healthcare professional Exploit, endanger, or sexualize minors Share another person’s private information without permission Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights Send spam, scams, unauthorized advertising, or deceptive messages Distribute malware or interfere with the Service’s security or operation Attempt to access another account or restricted data Scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically extract user information Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it Circumvent access controls, moderation systems, rate limits, or account restrictions Use automated systems to create accounts or manipulate activity Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, limit functionality, suspend accounts, or terminate access. 7. User Content “User Content” means content that users submit or make available through Water Warrior, including profile information, usernames, images, posts, comments, reactions, and other materials. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Water Warrior a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to: Operate the Service Display content to the audience you selected Provide social and technical functionality Moderate content Protect users and the Service Comply with legal obligations This license ends when the User Content is deleted from our active systems, except where continued retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, or operational purposes or where another user has independently copied or incorporated the content. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your User Content and grant this license.
8. Content Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve User Content when we reasonably believe it: Violates these Terms Violates applicable law Infringes another person’s rights Creates a risk to users or the Service Is reported as abusive, harmful, or inappropriate Users may report content or accounts through the reporting tools provided in the app or by contacting wwcustomerprivacy@gmail.com. Users may block other users using the blocking tools provided by Water Warrior. We do not guarantee that all inappropriate content will be identified immediately. We may consider context, severity, repetition, user safety, and available evidence when responding to reports. Apple requires apps containing user-generated content to provide objectionable-content filtering, reporting, blocking, and published contact information. Apple also states that developers are responsible for removing content that violates their terms or community standards.
9. Feedback You may provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Water Warrior. You grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your unrelated intellectual property or User Content.
10. Privacy Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Water Warrior Privacy Policy: https://amiyash3.github.io/water_warrior/privacy-policy/ By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in that policy.
11. Third-Party Services Water Warrior may rely on third-party services, including Apple and Supabase, for functions such as: App distribution Authentication Database hosting File storage Notifications Infrastructure and security Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, although we remain responsible for our own obligations regarding personal information and operation of Water Warrior.
12. Intellectual Property Except for User Content, Water Warrior and its associated software, design, logos, graphics, text, features, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Alec Miyashita and Tabitha Paik and are protected by appbject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Water Warrior for its intended purposes. This license does not permit you to reproduce, sell, sublicense, distribute, publicly exploit, or create derivative commercial products from Water Warrior unless we give written permission.
13. Service Availability and Changes We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of Water Warrior. We do not guarantee that: The Service will always be available Every feature will remain unchanged Data will always synchronize immediately Notifications will always arrive The Service will be free from bugs or interruptions The Service will support every device or operating-system version We may perform maintenance, address security concerns, modify features, or discontinue unsupported functionality. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that significantly affect users.
14. Account Deletion You may initiate deletion of your Water Warrior account through: Account → Settings → Privacy → Delete Account] You may also contact wwcustomerprivacy@gmail.com for assistance. Deleting ter Warrior app from your device does not by itself delete your account or server-stored information. Account deletion is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
15. Suspension and Termination You may stop using Water Warrior at any time. We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that: These Terms have been violated The account poses a safety or security risk The account is used fraudulently or unlawfully Removal is required by law Continued access could harm users, Water Warrior, or another party Where appropriate, we may allow an appeal through wwcustomerprivacy@gmail.com. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions—will survive termination.
16. Disclaimers To the maximum extent permitted by law, Water Warrior is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, and freedom from harmful components. We do not warrant that hydration goals, reminders, progress calculations, user content, or other information will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your individual circumstances. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Water Warrior and its operators, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, health outcomes, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of: The amount you paid directly to Water Warrior during the 12 months before the claim, or One hundred U.S. dollars Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability where prohibited by consumer-protection law.
18. Indemnification To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Water Warrior and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from: Your unlawful use of the Service Your material violation of these Terms Your User Content Your infringement of another person’s rights This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct or negligence where such an obligation would be prohibited by law.
19. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of California and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the laws of your jurisdiction require otherwise. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts located in Alameda County, California, United States of America, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring the dispute elsewhere. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at wwcustomerprivacy@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Have a lawyer review this section before choosing a jurisdiction or adding arbitration.
20. Apple-Specific Terms When you download Water Warrior through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable App Store terms and end-user license agreement also apply. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Water Warrior except as required by applicable law. To the extent these Terms conflict with applicable mandatory Apple terms regarding use of the downloaded application, the applicable Apple terms control. Unless we provide a custom license agreement through App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard EULA applies to the licensed application.
21. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, safety practices, or business operations. The updated Terms will display a revised “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or through another reasonable method. Where required, we may ask you to affirmatively accept updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.
22. Severability and Waiver If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
23. Entire Agreement These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable Apple terms, and any additional terms presented for a particular feature constitute the agreement between you and Water Warrior concerning the Service.
